The Purepass® Passivation Process
The Purepass® Passivation Process is an innovative proprietary process using citric acid coupled with chelants and intensifiers. This process produces high chromium levels, thereby creating an optimal corrosion resistant passive surface. It was developed as an alternative to the standard methods of using nitric or phosphoric acids which are toxic and not eco-friendly.
Advantages of the Purepass® Passivation Process:
- Provides the best corrosion resistance and produces the most optimal passive layer compared to other processes.
- Restores and protects vulnerable weld and heat affected zones from corrosion.
- Our process is significantly quicker, which produces faster results with less down time.
- Our process is eco-friendly, making for safe handling and easy disposal.
