Pickling & Passivation

Pickling is the removal of a thin layer of metal from the surface of stainless steel. Purepass Services Inc. uses a mixture of nitric and hydrofluoric to remove corrosion and weld damage. This process removes oxidation from stainless steel on heavily corroded surfaces.

We provide pickling and passivation at our facility n Hamilton, Ontario. Here we can process a wide range of parts from small components and fittings to process piping and mobile tanks.

We stand behind our projects and support our results with industry defining certification documentation. Upon completion of each job, we will provide you with a Certificate of Compliance in compliance with ASTM A380 and A967.
